Youth Group
The Youth Group at Trinity is focused on developing a closer relationship with God through fellowship with one another, outreach to those in their community and with their own devotion. Being together in fellowship is what the group enjoys most - whether it be worshipping God, serving others or just having fun.
In the fun category the Youth Group has gone ice skating at the McCann Ice Arena, been spooked at the Haunted Mansion, played games at the lock-ins, organized an Easter Egg Hunt for the Sunday School children and enjoyed good food and conversation at their annual progressive dinner.
In the helping others category, they have cooked dinner for a homeless shelter, served lunch at the Lunch Box in Poughkeepsie and collected and organized food for Thanksgiving baskets.
Each year the Youth Group attends a weekend retreat at Camp Epworth. The retreat allows them to experience God in the world, within their community, within themselves and in multimedia. To help defray individual costs, group fund raising is held.
